Infusion pump

A complete electronic subsystem was developed for the control of a disposable infusion pump for applications such as analgesia. The device used an LCD screen and stored dose records in a non-volatile memory.

Challenges included low power battery management, DC motor control, safety interlocks, fault mitigation, and cost sensitive design.
